Domenic also covers Women's football both at national and club level in Malta. 

 

"I have had some really great exciting photos coming out of women's football. The emotions transmitted in these photos you are seeing are exceptional to me" states Aquilina. 

 

The Maltese photographer was also present for the first time ever to the last UEFA Women's Champions League Final, which took place at the Colisseum Alfonso Perez in Getafe between eventual winners 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam from Germany and the French side of Olympique Lyonnais. The final outcome was decided after a very exciting penalty shoot out. 

 

The presentation of trophy photo by UEFA President, Mr. Michel Platini to the 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam captain featured in the last Uefadirect edition (pg. 6) was that of Domenic
